Katie Weaver Hartzog prevailed on a motion to dismiss of plaintiff’s claims of fraud and misrepresentation against his former employer, which was a municipal corporation.

Katie then obtained summary judgment with regard to plaintiff’s claim of breach of employment contract, resulting in the dismissal of all claims pending against the employer.

Summary judgment was affirmed on appeal by the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
