Mica Nguyen Worthy, partner in Charlotte, NC, and Ariella Zulman, associate attorney in Charlotte, NC, obtained dismissal of all claims they requested to be dismissed in a case involving a solar panel installation contractor. Mica and Ella argued the case should be narrowed significantly to only a breach of contract claim and persuaded the court that the law did not support the other claims of extra-contractual damages. As a result, the defendants were able to reduce the exposure in the case, which assisted in getting the case resolved in mediation.
