Benton Toups obtained a summary judgment on behalf of a long term care facility in a case of race discrimination brought against it by a former employee. Benton was able to convince the court that our client had legitimate, non-discriminatory reasons for terminating plaintiff. The plaintiff appealed the district court’s decision to the Federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, which affirmed the district court’s decision.
