Karen Sherrill is a paralegal on the Cranfill Sumner LLP Workers’ Compensation team where she supports attorney Jerri Simmons.
Karen began her workers’ compensation career as a claims adjuster in California, shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona. Many years and seven jurisdictions later, Karen completed an ABA-approved Paralegal Certification Program and transitioned into the role of a paralegal. She began her paralegal career on the plaintiff’s side and has now come full circle by returning to her roots with the defense.
Karen has two grown children, one in Colorado and the other in Greensboro, NC. She also has an awesome grandson who is as bright and sunny as a day at the beach!
