ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCIES
Winston has represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, professional licensing boards, and other federal and state agencies. He has successfully and confidentially resolved disputes before administrative agencies. Winston strives to strike a balance between resolution and litigation, as the circumstances of the matter dictate.
TRIAL COURT
Winston developed his skills as a litigator in the state and federal trial courts of Virginia. He now brings that same tenacity to clients in North Carolina. APPEALS
Winston has advocated on behalf of clients at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Supreme Court of the United States, and the appellate courts of Virginia.
Having previously practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Virginia, Winston and his wife moved to Wilmington with their pets. He earned his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he participated in moot court and research concerning patents and trade secrets. He graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Winston’s personal interests include a healthy football rivalry with his wife, enjoying the wide array of local restaurants, and running.
